Valérie Depauw is a research engineer at imec. She has been developing various thin-films of crystalline
silicon for solar cell applications at imec since 2004, when she started as a PhD student. Her research
interests are to explore the potential of new and advanced approaches to develop thinner crystalline
silicon cells. She is currently exploring porous-silicon based lift-off solar cells and surface nanostructuring.
She hates speaking about herself at the third person.
