Dr. Alexander Los

In 2008 Dr. Alexander Los founded EKO Instruments Europe B.V., The Hague, The Netherlands as the European subsidiary of EKO Instruments Co. Ltd., Tokyo, Japan. EKO Instruments develops and manufactures, among other instruments, solar radiation sensors and PV evaluation systems. Alexander Los is responsible for the management of the company and for scientific product development projects. His core speciality is the theoretical and experimental study of solar radiation and clouds by means of models and observations. In this field he gained experience during several years of scientific research on climate change, including his Ph.D. at the University of Utrecht and a post-doc position at the KNMI.
