Dr. Christopher Fell

Chris is a PhD physicist with 25 years experience in research, industry and academia, including photovoltaics (since 1998), photonics, thin films, surface science and ion beam technology. He founded CSIRO's photovoltaics research program in 2005, now operating commercially as PV Performance Laboratory, the only accredited PV measurement facility in the Southern Hemisphere. He is presently Chair of the Australian Photovoltaics Institute. He is a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of Newcastle (Australia) and represents Australia on the IEC international standards committee for photovoltaic modules.
