Arturo Martinez was born in Mexico City, where he studied Electrical & Electronic Engineering at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He worked 6 years for the Spanish-based company Acciona, before starting his master in Power Engineering at the Delft Technical University. After successfully completing his master with the Photovoltaic Materials and Devices group, he continued in the same group where he’s now pursuing a PhD. His research interests lay with hydrogen production using solar energy at industrial scale.
