Ignacia Devoto born in Santiago (Chile) in 1990. She obtained her bachelor and master degree in electrical engineering (specialized in energy systems) in 2018 at the University of Chile. She is currently pursuing her doctor degree in engineering of photovoltaics at the International Solar Energy Research Center (ISC) Konstanz under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ralph Gottschalg from Fraunhofer CSP. Her doctoral research is based on the intensive investigation of failure modes in interconnects based on electrical conductive adhesives and the development of mitigation strategies. In her work she is currently developing a method to accurately measure the contact resistivity of such joints.
