Ms. Aline Kirsten Vidal de Oliveira

Aline is an electrical engineer that graduated at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). During her bachelor, she worked with microgrids and did an exchange program at Technische Universität München (TUM), in Germany, where she specialized in the integration of renewable energies and electromobility. There, she also did an internship in energy management and electric cars at BMW AG. After graduation, she was a temporary professor at Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina in Florianópolis for one year and also conducted technical trainings on PV systems installation. Since 2017, she is a researcher at the Solar Energy Research Laboratory at UFSC where she is currently doing her Doctor's degree with a focus in PV plants inspection. She is also co-founder of the Brazilian's Network for Women in Solar Energy (Rede MESol) and a board member of the board of the Brazilian Association of Solar Energy (ABENS).
