Mr. Tom Borgers

Tom Borgers joined imec in 2000, working on III-V detector technologies and developing a flip-chip approach for megapixel infrared sensors. From 2004 he was involved in the development of 3D integration and packaging for microsystems. Tom switched to the field of photovoltaics in 2008, when he began working for Photovoltech. His interests lie in back contact solar cell concepts, specifically the development of module technology. In 2012 he joined imec’s reliability and modelling group. Currently he works in imec's PV Module and Simulation team, focusing on module interconnection technology.
