Dr. Gabriele C. Eder
OFI, Vienna, Austria
Gabriele C. Eder received a PhD. in Technical Chemistry at the Technical University of Vienna, Austria.
She is working as scientist in the fields of material analytics, surface science and environmental simulations for more than 15 years. Her main activities lie in the analytical evaluation of aging induced changes within materials, on surfaces and interfaces, reliability testing and applied research for costumers in several areas of industry. The core competences are various spectroscopic techniques and methods with focus on UV/VIS/NIR-, Infrared and Ramanspectroscopy/microscopy as well as UV- fluoreszence measurements.
In the field of photovoltaics her main interests are building integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV; active member of the IEA PVPS Task 15: acceleration of BIPV), innovative non-destructive characterization methods and long time performance of climate sensitive PV-elements.
