Summary / Abstract: Detection of secondary phases is crucial for academic study of material, as well as for process development and quality assessment. For kesterite, as for many other thin film solar-cell materials, secondary phases detection is very largely performed by XRD, Raman, XPS or SEM observation. Each of those method suffers from handicaps that greatly limit their capacity to analyze a large area (cm² or more) within a short time frame. Here, we aim to detect secondary phases on large sample, with good spatial resolution, reduced equipment, time and analysis effort, by using Near-Infrared Imaging.
