Summary / Abstract: A process has been devised to develop pastes based on the use of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), as a binder material, together with graphite and black carbon, as conductive materials to produce back contacts to HTMfree perovskite solar cells. Although the consistency of the pastes produced was not compatible with their spreading using Dr. Blade techniques, contacts were deposited by an alternative method, similar to cement rendering, as it was done in previous attempts, when ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) was being evaluated as binder material, resulting in a more than three-fold reduction in the measured contact resistance.
