Summary / Abstract: This abstract presents the recently completed PEARL PV Country Reports which is a large status overview of each of the 34 European COST Member countries of COST Action PEARL PV, in order to provide an overview of PV system implementation, affiliated policies for renewable energy and PV research programmes across this group of countries in and around the year 2018 and beyond. Countries which contributed to this endeavor are: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, The Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and United Kingdom. In addition to a presentation of the general results obtained from data collection in these countries, their meteorological climates, the status of PV system implementation, PV policies and PV research, the final paper will zoom into selected countries with favorable and difficult conditions for PV systems. In this abstract the general results are presented in combination with geographic mapping of data collection.
