Summary / Abstract: Thin films of cesium lead bromide iodide mixed perovskite (CsPbBr3-xIx) with x varying at different molar ratios were synthesized by sequential evaporation of precursors (CsBr, PbBr2, PbI2), in order to get light absorbers with tunable band gap. Special emphasis was put on studying the effect that the amount of bromine that is substituted by iodine, has on the optical, structural and morphological properties. In particular, the effect caused by the substitution of Br by I in the CsPbBr3 lattice on the optical gap, morphology and the formation of structural defects was studied, by means of transmittance, photoluminescence, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy measurements of Urbach.
