For the past ten years, the field of perovskite solar cells have known a tremendous development among photovoltaic technologies, rapidly increasing from 3.8%  to 25.2%  power conversion efficiency (PCE). However, before transferring this technology to commercial applications, one of the main challenges to overcome is the fabrication of high quality perovskite absorber films on large surfaces. Various alternatives to spin-coating have been explored such as blade coating , inkjet coating ,or spray coating , which are compatible with sheet-to-sheet or roll-to-roll fabrications. Among them, slot-die coating is one of the most promising techniques. It is easily compatible with a high throughput fabrication technique and enables a fine control of uniformity on large areas. The best efficiency for slot-die coated perovskite so far reached 18%  on lab-scale cell and 16.5% for 1300 cm² modules by GCL.
