Research and development on photovoltaic (PV) with unique shapes different from flat type PV (i.e. flexible PV, three dimensional PV) (three dimensional PV :3D PV) has been proceeded, aiming at development of new market where flat type PV is hard to be installed. However, sealing of these flexible printable-PV has not been done at a low cost. We have solved this problem by the 3D PV structure. With our distinctive low cost technology of complete sealing method, we were able to remarkably improve the stability of organic-based and perovskite-based PV. Our approach is the method to use cylindrical glass as outer shell. In order to realize the complete sealing, unique encapsulation structures consisting of glass and metal electrode were developed by using our welding technology. This eventually avoid oxygen and moisture in the atmosphere from intruding into power generation sheet even under a severe outdoor environment.
