Summary / Abstract: The market for building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) is largely unknown since the last market figures published by a non-commercial independent source were shown by EPIA in 2010 at the Solar power on buildings in Watford, UK [1]. This why a worldwide market research has been performed within the funded research project PrintPero - Printed Perovskite solar panels for building integrated photovoltaic. The market research has been sent out to scientists, consultants, engineers, manufacturers and architects that are known to work in the BIPV field. Special focus of the research has been put on the perception of these stakeholders concerning market distribution and segmentation according to mounting and cell technology.
